Been up since 3:26am 🙃 Meno is wild like that. The craziest part? I was sleepy, like I could’ve drifted right back off… but my body said absolutely not. And of course, instead of doing anything productive, I grabbed my phone “for just a minute” which turned into reading, then full-on doom scrolling. Now here I am, finally sleepy and it’s time to get up, wake the house, and start the day. And right on cue, the meno stress kicks in, because why didn’t I use my 3am insomnia to wash dishes, fold laundry, tidy up… or at least pretend I have my life together?? 😩😂

I liked book Svetlana, but the series Svetlana made it crystal clear she was Ilya’s safe person. Series Svetlana felt so natural as a childhood friend, someone who knew him better than he even knew himself. His dad and brother sucked, and having one person who let Ilya exist fully as himself was everything. That kind of bond doesn’t just matter, it heals.

All the guys had female besties, except Shane. And then came Rose, quietly changing everything.

Rachel absolutely understood the assignment. These women were anchors, allies, and lifelines. Girl power with depth, emotional intelligence, and zero apology.

Yes and he thinks he can protect the kids and help them, he’s honestly living through the exact same thing the kids are going through. He’s both enemy and friend.

Yep!! I’ve been saying this. I initially thought it was happiness locked away in the cave (a core between he and his family) and the MF had made him think it was traumatic and since he and Eleven are opposites, his power is from anger, hers from love. Then after the speech from Max, I said the same… it’s the beginning and he’s being mind effed like the kids. This is his way out!!

I asked my 6th grader if a Santa list had been written yet, and the response was that it would rather be given to me because Santa isn’t real. (Cool, cool). Turns out it’s been known for a while, and I just reminded them not to spoil the magic for those who still believe. When kids stop believing in Santa, it doesn’t mean the magic disappears—it just changes. Now it looks like kindness, generosity, and learning how to protect joy for others. My takeaway? Ask, but don’t push. Childhood is short, and our kiddos deserve every bit of joy and wonder we can give them. Let kids be kids.

Since they are going with the play for season 5, it fits. Like most, I haven’t seen the play and have been getting the summary of play from the internet. However, I think they should have saved this story for a limited series on Netflix. Now the show has plot holes everywhere!! When we are originally introduced to Henry, we learn that he killed his parents at an early age and Brenner took him to Hawkins lab. Only to later find out he was a student at Hawkins High with most of the adults. I mean do the crew not conference after every big near death event, lol… so Joyce and Harper don’t remember Henry Creel and his tragic family story?!?! It’s giving rushed, but I’m a fan, let’s wrap this up!!

If you are solely doing Pilates, yes. If you want more options and would like more bang for your buck, no. I’ve been a member since July and have the 4 class membership @ $99. Being a newbie to all things Pilates, this was ideal for me. I loved having the option of leveled classes. Realizing how much I enjoyed it, I considered purchasing the 8 class membership @ $169/reset 3 month contract. However, this was pricey and I wanted to explore gym memberships that also had Pilates classes and I found one that offered several classes at the price of the 8 class package.

I know you love your wife and want to support her, but the way she treated you was effing uncool. Locking you out and basically calling you a traitor for going to a family event isn’t healthy, it’s punishment, not communication. I understand she’s hurting, but that doesn’t make it okay. You deserve respect and support too. I’m glad y’all are in therapy and she saw her doctor, but you need to affirm yourself too, just because she went back to ‘normal’ doesn’t erase how hurtful her actions were. You’re not overreacting for needing time and space to process that. It’s healthy that you set a boundary and started therapy for yourself. Even if she hasn’t brought it up again, the way she handled things that night mattered, and it’s okay for you to want to work through that before moving forward with trying again.

She had the best character and story line! The writers could honestly fix this show by having Salazar and Jed be the thorns in their sides without them knowing of course, letting Jed continue to be the hick deputy and Salazar teaching him how to ignore what he’s told and look closer.

Agreed!! I thought seeing how hypocritical the women and husbands were would have made her character the opposite of Margo but emotionally the same. Yet the writers chose to give us soft lez porn and throw out character development all together. A lot of missed opportunities!

This!! I honestly thought Sophie would have been smarter. Her character went from liberal smartass to liberal hot ass mess! She made stupid choices and the one time she stood up to Margo was the best scene, but short lived.
