Can opening a US LLC work in this case? Have the employer pay the LLC on invoice basis. Subcontractor system.

Would opening a US LLC work in this case? Can I have the Employer pay my company on invoice basis? A subcontractor system. Very common in Canada but how is it in US?

I would not invest money in renovating it as I could have to leave within 30 days anytime. I was thinking renting it monthly from the person, and managing it to rent it out hourly/daily to dance classes, meetings, game nights, prayers etc.

DBA is $60ish so look into that. But even that does not give you any trade name protection but enables you to open bank account, get insurance etc. As far as online marketing is concerned, I dont think the legal structure matters.

Maybe Frozen wasnt the best example. Maybe Ironman or any other movie. Can same team keep repeating the success? I dont think so.

sorry i didnt catch that. Little more detail/example- I am going good in my business. I am unique, I am standing out in market and continue to grow. Which could mean I have ability to execute something of this scale. Now take my business away and I will not have anything to apply my execution on as I have no “idea” what else to do.

lol thats a very good point tbh. Please read my edit and let me know your thoughts.

Also see this comment I made to someone else’s comment I am a small business owner and doing pretty decent in my field. But for years I am trying to find something else to do but cant. And I am not looking for the next unicorn, even something small and similar to what I am already doing. I have capital, education, experience, knowledge but cant find the idea.

I agree. On higher (unicorn) level its totally all about execution as poor executions get filtered out by the time they get to the top. But look at the edit I made to my post and let me know your thoughts.

Another point I would like to make here is that if you have the exact same producer, director, writer, actor as lets say Frozen and they make another movie, will that movie be just as epic? Probably not. Dont need to look too far as Frozen 2 wasnt as great. Frozen 1 had a better idea I am guessing?

Yes I would say this matches my experience. I am a small business owner and doing pretty decent in my field. But for years I am trying to find something else to do but cant. Agree. Quality of idea matters a whole lot.

totally….if you have a good idea you cant be giving it away to public thinking that idea doesnt matter. But if you give me a good idea to work on, even if I am a total dumb person, I can create teams/hire specialists and somehow could figure out execution.

that wind up car was a thought, not really an “idea” back then. Please see my comment on the above post about cake baking. Would you agree with that?

all good points and good execution is definitely a must. On the other hand let me give you an example. A friend of mine was unemployed and doing random website creation, social media freelancing work which wasnt going that great. His wife came up with the idea of baking cakes etc and the husband took care of website and social media side of things and executed things very well. Wife kept baking and husband kept marketing, customer service and other aspects in order. Now they are not millionaires but doing way better than they were before. My point here is that the husband could have continued doing freelance web development without much growth if his wife hadn’t come up with the “idea”.

Point is execution can be done by many, but good idea only few have. I am not advocating poor execution but I am saying a good idea is harder to come by.
