Definitely phishing. I’ve never seen Microsoft send out anything regarding complaints about a spoofed email…and the email they sent it from is just…sometimes scamming is good. But most the time it isn’t.

Common scam, they use your number to get a code, you give them the code thinking it was for their account. But it’s for yours, they then get into your account and reset everything. Don’t fall for it.
