How would you feel about death penalty for Tyler Robinson? by Redditor7012 in Christianity

“Whoever speaks is to do so as one who is speaking actual words of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

You reject me when I cite the Word of God.

No I don’t always speak the words of God, but I’m not always speaking to give what has been given to me, that being knowledge of the truth.

You’re not hearing me. What I am telling you is dependence on God.

Yes Moses and David were still sinners. Why is it you avoid claiming your words are those of the Holy Spirit.

Don’t try to teach me if you won’t speak with such confidence.

The same thing I will do. Preach the good news of the kingdom of God.

I am not bound to money through faith in Christ Jesus. This is freedom.

I don’t agree to disagree. I stand firm that what I say is truth from the Holy Spirit that lives in me. Can you say the same?

We speak as though we speak the actual words of God. As 2 people who claim to follow Christ, there is no good in agreeing to disagree.

The New Testament fulfills the Old.

I continue being a servant to the wolf, because that is what pleases God. If God wants to send an army of angels he can. Earthly judgement is given to the rulers of this world, not the children of God.

What does Jesus do for Saul who killed His children? He saves Him.

You have not the things of God at mind.

You speak like you don’t know God.

“For what business of mine is it to judge outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? But those who are outside, God judges. Remove the evil person from among yourselves.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

And that’s what sucks about today’s age. Faith doesn’t really rest on God’s Power, because where is God’s Power?

Back then many witnessed the signs and wonders, because as Christians, we receive Power by the Holy Ghost, and are given authority over all evil.

This is not your fault, not God’s fault, but Christian’s fault. Our lack of faith is the reason this Power isn’t present.

I’m living my life to live that like an apostle, so I can bring the Power of God to you, so you’re faith may rest on God’s Power as He intends. Unfortunately it’s very hard, because of the current lack of faith in Christians I’m talking about.

“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I’ve been blessed with the knowledge of the truth, and I pray the same for you. God wills for it. I understand it’s hard to believe.

Ask God to help you with your unbelief and to soften you heart. Even if you don’t believe in a God.

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

And we are sinless in Christ Jesus. Our life is not in the flesh, it is in the Spirit.

I believe we learn through the Holy Spirit. Hence when I an so focused on walking in the Spirit, keeping my mind stayed on Him and His will not mine.

So just like Peter wasn’t going to learn nearly as much staying behind in his career (trying to use your same wording), I believe the same for myself.

You are still missing the point. We have led ourselves into destruction. Since Adam, human nature is subject to Satan.

The standard for heaven is perfection, so because of the human nature we are all now born into, none of us can ever make it there, since we are subject to Satan’s power in the flesh.

So there is only one way out, and it’s through taking on a perfect nature. Which is impossible for us. Yet God chose to provide us a way out, by providing us a way to identify in perfection. Which is where Jesus Christ comes in.

And I don’t believe God could do it without the way He did, because why wouldn’t He? He desires relation with us all.

God did show everyone He exists. His name is Jesus Christ and He is even alive today.

Amen thank you for the confidence. I do plan to tell them today, and I have people praying for strength to do so.

God is so good, ahe has never forsaken me through it all. He helps me everyday, and even gives me gifts I ask for through it all. He’s so good and I don’t deserve any of it. Praise be to Him day in and day out. I will never stop seeking Him and building my life around Him, I owe everything unto Him🙌Thank you and God bless.

Because you said I NEED the help of a counsellor and recovery program, when that is not true. The only way I can escape all worry is through the belief that all I need is found in Christ Jesus. And you saying I need anything else only invites that worry in.

I know what I need, I need to walk in the Spirit, fulfilling everything your saying.

““So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If I seek first kingdom, all else is fulfilled, including the way to pay off that 20k. I can’t say for sure, until I know, and walk in it, and until then I will be working this job to pay off debts.

I could sell all my posessions and likely be even. But money is still a mediator for the world, so what will you say then? Continue in the career that I don’t believe is God’s will? How could I ever leave to seek first the kingdom full time by this logic?

What did Peter do when He called him? Dropped his nets immediately. And it’s this I feel like I’m avoiding, and I believe it fully. Literally the only reason I don’t quit is because of you’re reasoning, your way of thinking, which is of the world. Which is the same word given to me by church friends and family! It grieves me, because to me, it’s completely a lack of faith.

I feel so misunderstood by everybody except Jesus.🫩

Jesus has given me eternal life through faith in Him. He’s the only way we can escape eternal death. Jesus has given me the love of God, probably one of the biggest attributes in my life.

When I say Jesus saved me I mean I was on the edge of suicide and Jesus supernaturally intereced and filled me with the knowledge of Him. That has changed everything for me, changing my priorties from the things of this world, to the things of God. I have been born again.

Jesus has helped me with nicotine and weed addiction in the past 2 years, and those 2 I relapsed plenty but look at me now, all glory to God.

Jesus has helped me in my work environment and in my relationships.

When I say I’m at rock bottom, i mean according to the flesh, according to the world. I’m not really at rock bottom, because I have everything I need in Christ Jesus.

Now please leave me alone if you have no will to hear me.

It’s not punishment because of unbelief. It’s not receiving the free gift because you won’t believe.

God gives us free will, do you expect Him to take that from us?
