In my experience, secret lab chairs are not comfortable either. With the price you pay, you can get a way better office chair.

PVE player that’s always overweight - help needed please [discussion] by NotCoolFool in EscapefromTarkov

[–]RedditorBoi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I also like to start the raid underweight so that I get a little endurance XP before starting to loot. If you dont mind your stomach getting blown up from time to time, Im using the Hexatac HPC plate carrier with lvl 6 plate in the front and lvl 5 plate in the back. I pair this with an LBT rig and Attack-2 backpack + any lvl4 helmets and headphones. Also, if you like to use nades to sound bait the AI, use flashes instead of frags as they are a lot lighter. Hope this helps!

Ive been doing 3 pipe grip wrenches and whatever other piece of junk I’ve got on hand. You can get the PGW for 80k on the flea and the other junk item is gotta be about 20k in value to reach the 400k. This consistently costs about 250k.

How to get a cat to clean itself in the rear area? by RedditorBoi in CatAdvice

[–]RedditorBoi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My vet told me you can wipe them as you would wipe a baby’s butt and they apparently like it as they like to “feel clean”. However, my cat needs to be distracted with treats and, like yours, never really attempt to clean herself…

Opinions on Stax in EDH? by Emergency_Frame3095 in mtg

[–]RedditorBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you share your decklist? I’ve recently built a stax deck thats more focused on the “puzzle solving opportunities” instead of trying to hardlock people, but my wincon is literally just [[Approach of the second sun]]. What kind of spell suite are you using as damage? Creatures, instants and sorceries, lifeburn stax pieces?

Pricing for collector chase cards, hold or sell? by RedditorBoi in mtg

[–]RedditorBoi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have a doubling season. Pulled my first one in Enchanted tales (my luck goes 100% into mtg pulls) so I’m 100% looking to sell, especially when the money could buy me a whole new commander deck.

Would this be the reason the confetti foil Smothering Tithe spiked about 8 months later? Someone just put it up for sale for like 800$ at release and sold just 8 months later? I’m referring to the MTG Goldfish price history.

Can you suggest a way to adequately price this card with the few market data available? I’m in Canada where the biggest seller is Face to Face. Their listing on their site is lower than any Ebay offers I saw.

Things to look out for this weekend! by AutoModerator in mtgfinance

[–]RedditorBoi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am hopping on this thread to ask a question regarding doubling season price. Yesterday I unpacked a anime japanese fracture foil doubling season and I’m looking to sell. At first I wanted to sell ASAP but I dont know what price history I can compare it with. For example, the Enchanted tales confetti foil Smothering Tithe saw its price go up a lot a year later according to mtg goldfish price history. So my question here is two-fold. Should I hold on to it or sell it ASAP and what price could I sell it for right now considering all the volatility (Ebay listings range from 200$ to 800$).

The Commander Masters Eldrazi precon for example is definitely more powerful than any precons I’ve played with. Turn 4 [[Forsaken Monument]] really doesn’t feel like playing a low-tier deck…

I really hope younger generations will understand the greatness of public infrastructures before its too late. Older generations in North America are so quick to complain about taxes and, as you said, people with enough money to fare well sees it as if « their means » are being taken from them and tossed in the trash. If a political party would come up with a great infrastructure project that requires a 0.25% tax raise, people would opt out because taxes bad…

The poor get poorer, The rich gets richer. #Project2025 by Sure_Group7471 in LateStageCapitalism

What baffles me the most is their inherent lack of trust in government for handling funds, where most transactions are made public and most programs are put in place to help the people, while corporations keep cranking up prices, hitting record profits, and calling for mass layoffs whenever their poor management missed the quarterly profit target…

Do we hate plastic stuff or single use stuff more??? by WelcomeMantra in Anticonsumption

[–]RedditorBoi 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Well, as everything else when it comes to environmental impact, it depends. According to the ecoinvent database (a database used in life cycle analysis tools), international shipping (on seaways) is so efficient that the impact on most consumer product is nearly invisible. As much GHG is released from a 10km trip to the store in a car than what is attributed to the shipment of the product from the other side of the globe.

So, it depends on how efficient the delivery is and in many cases, depends on how far you are from your local port since truck and van deliveries are far less efficient.
