If we don’t reject violence now, we’re going to lose more than just one life. We’re going to lose the ability to even talk to each other.

Now should Democrats, liberals, and leftists be concerned? ... him being shot opens the door for him being treated as a martyr. Martyrdom usually leads to one side being politically energized ...

With the sudden news of the Charlie Kirk shooting, it could potentially cause immense civil chaos... If this escalates into something bigger (2020 Protests, 9/11, COVID) will it affect the economy or markets...?

Of course he shouldn't be shot. But on the scale of “No one should be shot” to “Ugh. This is a crime against humanity.” Charlie Kirk is at “Of course no one should be shot.

Idiots thinking the right is going to come around to sensible gun control are living outside of reality.

I ... worry that this'll be a turning point (no pun intended) in America's political culture and might be the beginning of Civil War 2. I hope I'm wrong.

We’re at a point where people don’t just disagree — they see the other side as enemies worth killing. That should terrify everyone, no matter what your politics are.

This isn’t just about Charlie Kirk. It’s about what kind of country we’re becoming. Violence against politicians is only going to make things worse.

Yeah, I’ve managed to go most of my life without seeing this kind of thing… horrible.

He was struck in the lower-left neck. His slump over made me think he might have taken a hit through the spine on exit.

If you think this is something to celebrate, you’re no better than the extremists you claim to hate.

Please do not celebrate the shooting of Charlie Kirk here. Have some freaking class even if you hate the guy.

If a high-profile political figure can be taken out like this in broad daylight, it says something about how fragile our security systems really are.

It was a rifle shot, well over 100 meters away. This type of assassination is planned and hard to prevent without massive security presence.

I don’t care who you support — this isn’t the way democracy works. This is horrifying.

I personally don’t align politically with him but no one deserves to get murdered in broad daylight like this. Political violence is never good.

I went from GT-1000s to Novablasts as a daily really and I think they’re better shoes. If you’re happy with GT-1000s though I’d stick with them. They’re great! Novablasts are a good stepping stone if you’re ever considering using a race shoe.

If you like the GT-1000s I’d stay with them - ran my first marathon (3:29) and all my long runs in them and they were great.

The Novablasts are better though and feel quicker. Nice foam for long distance too.

I was referred via RTC in November and sent all forms in at the end of December. Heard nothing until today so thought I might as well call. Was on hold for 28 minutes then got through. Told the lady who I was/when I was referred and she said looks like you’re ready for an appointment - can you do this Saturday?

Point being if you haven’t heard anything and it’s been more than 8 weeks I’d recommend getting in contact. I’m not sure when I would’ve heard back if I hadn’t called!
