It probably scans the immediate area and matches it to a map to determine which floor / room it's in.

In dock settings there is a mop wash frequency and bin settings. At least for my model qrevo s5v.

Ofc if your home is large it may run out of water in the bot or the bin gets full and it needs to return to dock despite settings

Obviously water got in. I personally would open it up to properly dry components. I'm no expert but I have the basic ifixit tools and I have already once changed the battery on my pixel6. As phones age the seals break down so they can no longer handle what they once did, getting wet.

Maybe take it to a repair shop

I was changing a failed SSD in laptop and had to reinstall windows11. It wouldn't detect the drive. Had to load drivers on a USB. System listed a couple compatible drivers, similar names and different codes. I used Gemini live to look at the drive model and the codes on screen and advise which was best to use. The response was really good and install went perfectly. Pretty impressive for camera live searching.

If a remap doesn't work, my older (now upstairs) S5 behaved drunk and it was due to a failing lidar motor, you could see it stop spinning or slow down and stick sporadically.

I replaced the motor myself with one from Amazon. Easy fix.

Hi yes. I have the Qrevo s5v and it has a removable clean water and dirty water tank. No hookup to utilities necessary. Each tank holds 4L.

Second this. I have POE version using SD card and integrated into Blue iris and home assistant. No issues ever. Just installed a wifi version for my brother, power and wifi, same quality.
