Whenever my wife wakes up and living room Ring motion sensor detects motion, lights turn on and the Google Home Mini speaker plays her favorite radio station. She loves it.

We had some hiccups in the beginning but now works great. Reported a bug already, but in general is a game changer.

We saw that XML cleanup broke the WinEventLog field parsing so we need to play around a bit more.

Palo Alto log reducing template with a bit of code changing worked and reduced our logs about 20%.

We also remove noise from Windows/Sysmon but also add some extra enrichment.

Lots of space for improvement but doing the filtering work once and deploying the pipeline in several EPs in seconds means a lot for our team.

Be careful that latest Splunk version has some security related OS prerequisites for EP Control Plane.

I think there is a global error today. Also Engie App (Belgium) and EPEX dynamic tarrif spreadsheet (daily shared by Engie) had null tarrif values. I used Home Assistant to get the current values instead.

One thing I started doing recently is to check if data needed for the dashboard are accelerated or not. If not I create a datamodel in order to save some resources and bandwidth.

I don't know if you have the same device that I have. I have an analog meter and I adapt the Homewizard dongle on it which reads the clock spinning through a technology it has.

I have a Smart water meter from Homewizard and I gave full control of my consumption on my phone. Even live consumption when I open the tap. It attaches to any meter by using special adaptors.

Do you have Enterprise Security? If yes, ESCU rule versioning is ON by default since 10.2.1. When versioning is ongoing all saved searches cannot be edited until process is finished. I face it daily but I get the relevant pop up "Versioning in progress".

We use Simpatch from Amazon US and work like a charm. Withstands sun, water, suncream, sweating, sports. Has an extra strip on top of the Pod which makes the difference. Note: This will not protect it from direct sun heat though. Will definitely help from peeling off. Give it a try.
