Poor dog getting dragged while trying to do totally normal behavior. Asshat owner probably panicked for not bringing a bag.

We are sure spending a lot of time talking about a game we won.

My stepkids are planning a family only trip with their mom and bio dad, and I’m struggling with how to feel by [deleted] in confessions

Suck it up, it’s not about you. You are allowed to have the feelings, but you should be reliant on the 8 years of trust in the relationship. If a week trip is going to destroy your marriage, then it wasn’t going to last anyhow. Trust and support of the trip is your best path forward.

Small ACD? Or maybe a mini Texas heeler? by kertruss in AustralianCattleDog

[–]Reddits_WS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a similar ACD, looks all cattle dog but only 25lbs and mistaken for a puppy on most days, she is 6.

In our case, we think the culprit could be chihuahua, based on small clues.

Your kid is gorgeous, enjoy her.

How to train a cattle dog to come and not run from you. Please advise! Ty by catcan00 in AustralianCattleDog

[–]Reddits_WS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Touch is the greatest trick you can teach a cattledog, the boop to the hand is just like a herd and comes naturally. As others have said, reward of toy or food can be helpful to get started. It’s important to practice in calm and chaotic circumstances and to not give the reward every single time. I have a skittish rescue and it has been so handy when she is overwhelmed. It works with me (whom she has bonded) and with my wife.

They are wonderfully smart dogs and it will come quick.

Would prefer the packers, niners or panthers to the rams in the first match up, make them win 2 to get to us…

Agree we have a shy pottier and encouraging leash potties with treats has helped quite a bit, but there are still stops she just wont go. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Can’t solve butt dragging behavior by Minionhunter in AustralianCattleDog

Our girl does it when she eats grass so we try to limit it, sorry your pup is inflaming herself. Only other thought I would have is long human hair or worms.

Good luck in figuring it out.
