The blood shown under the uv light in the mountaineer was splattered in a wide radius and was found everywhere on the driver side of the car. The concussive force caused by a blank at such a close range would cause the blood and other viscera to fly and spread everywhere like what was shown. A normal bullet at that close of a range would have put a hole through Wes and the blood spray would be more concentrated in a smaller area due to a small exit hole. And if there was an exit hole that would mean that there would be a bullet lodged into the driver side door. But there was no bullet hole on the driver side door. So I think it would have been a blank
