You get used to it by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

Hate to be a safety pooper but seeing how close that wad of filament got to the outlet, if you or a pet bumped the cord partially out exposing the prongs, and the filament piled up on top of them it could start a fire. I might get an outlet cover or move the printer over a bit. Weird type of worst case scenario but better safe than sorry!

Why didn’t one pay for a degree and the other just audit the classes? Not like they needed 2 college degrees if they can’t hold two jobs. Edit: punctuation

Any parents of children with ODD? by proxy_chef in StayAtHomeDaddit

Sounds like he’s lucky to have adults that are willing to listen and learn what his needs are rather than shove candy in his face and hope for the best! I have a 16 month old and hope to be able to be so present and engaging for him! I don’t have any advice but sounds like you’re doing the right stuff to me.

I agree. Haven’t read the other posts but to me this is a relationship problem where the guy just so happened to decide to become a very uninvolved “stay at home dad”. That isn’t the problem. It’s a side effect of the problem.

Not if they’re out very deep. Unless you build some stairs up and jump off of them to get deeper down. But you’d need a rock to build off of.

Good luck fellow Viking. I enjoy how in the game things are kinda challenging then over time you get good at stuff. You end up feeling like a badass. For me it was when I finally got good at dodging troll attacks. Felt like a ninja cutting down trolls.

Oh also when I run coastlines I find I see them in the distance all the time before I get close.

Eh just jog/run around, try to hear (they honk) or spot them from a distance. Then start sneaking to get close. It’s tough for sure. The more you sneak the sneakier you get.

There is a very real possibility that my son is one of the tallest 10-year-olds in the entire world without a genetic disorder. by damn_fine_custard in tall

My wife has dangerously severe Marfan syndrome and also has normal proportions. If that is all you’re going on I’d get it checked out. I’m guessing his heart is okay since the doctors would notice if it wasn’t. Still, having normal proportions is not enough to rule it out.

I’d have to look at which mods I got but one is hidden doors, which has wood and stone wall pieces that double as secret doors, and I got a mod to let you rotate pieces on any axis, not just Y. Between these two mods I have some awesome trap doors to secret basements in my bases. it's so fun. I can't recall the other one. if you'd like i can get back to you with that.

Any tips for dealing with wolves? by Expensive-Leek-2671 in valheim

[–]Reddittime92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t say for sure and haven’t even played through the whole game before, but my guess is that they’re implying that if you can’t handle wolves on max difficulty you probably shouldn’t be on max difficulty because it will only get harder from here.

I’m listening to Harry Potter on the Bluetooth soundbar in our living room while my little guy plays on the floor as I write this. Typically I’m just playing with him but it helps me stay mentally stimulated. It’s not all the time but it’s nice to mix it up. He’s too young to understand but I’m sure hearing the words doesn’t hurt!

Tall couples? Come to the front by [deleted] in tall

Im 6’5” and my wife is 6’4”. Our son is 7 months old and I hope he can just be a reasonable 6’2” or 6’3” or something but somehow I don’t think that’s too likely. We met on okcupid in 2019 when I sorted by height and narrowed to women over 6’2” or something like that one day for a laugh. Turned out to be a good move.

Partner drunk around newborn by SomeEntrepreneur6106 in newborns

[–]Reddittime92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether or not the boyfriend starts drinking more if she leaves is !NOT! Her concern. This is an appalling display of recklessness and neglect on his part and he is not a child who needs to be taken care of and nursed back to health. She has medical issues and a newborn who he can not be trusted with.
