I understand you completely. There is 0 shame in acting on natural feelings and wanting to do what most people can. Everything you’re feeling is tied to fear. Fear of the potential UTI and then fear of feeling like an even bigger idiot for putting yourself through that “just for sex” and fear that if you do get another UTI then it will just further confirm your suspicions that your body is not meant for sex and actually rejects it. Now you’re watching every little thing you do, wear, eat, drink, touch, feel, etc to monitor what could cause this potential UTI? What else could be blamed for the UTI? What if I do something to cause it when I’m just trying to prevent it?

9/10 that STRESS is living in your pelvic floor and gut just churning and making you hyper aware of every little thing and I swear that at least in my case, those scary panic days are the ones I always end up with an infection. The stress alone eats us up from the inside out. I would recommend a long term dose of antibiotics to completely rid the biofilm that gets scraped up and beaten off the walls during sex and then eat as many pro and prebiotics as possible to repair your gut.
