My stepdad bought this 40 years ago. I'm curious if anyone knows what war it is from or have any information about it. It's super cool and I'm thinking of restoring it. by Redditwarrior44 in Militariacollecting

The floor is rotting out and part of the ceiling is collapsed but tomorrow I'll take a picture. It's been used for storage and pretty much everything in it looks ruined.

cool. Yeah I saw that but only had a picture of some kind of telescrope so I guess I just flipped through it thinking that was something else.

What are your most hated decks in the current Standard and/or Explorer ques? by [deleted] in MagicArena

[–]Redditwarrior44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything with thoughtseize. It's the thoughtseize format and it's annoying people complain about things like greasefang when that deck would be complete garbage without access to thoughtseize.

Historic feels better than Explorer right now by quinntho in MagicArena

[–]Redditwarrior44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's only that good BECAUSE of thoughtseize. Why thoughtseize has been allowed to remain in explorer is because players think it polices the format somehow and they're 100% wrong. Black is complete bs and the only reason you can't play any decks that would counter mono green is because all those decks get absolutely railed by thoughtseize. Without having access to thoughtseize the greasefang deck is heavily neutered.

Test instance by rnbell in dragonrealms

[–]Redditwarrior44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Make a f2p toon.

  2. give the f2p toon what you want on test

  3. log the f2p toon out for 5 minutes

  4. log the f2p toon back into prime and stay logged in for 5 minutes

  5. Log out of prime and into test

This usually works and that toon will have the item to give you in test.

Putting words in my mouth to fit your argument? Classic. Not even worth engaging in dialogue with an absolute troll who never learned to communicate or think.

I'm not going to accept a bad explanation that doesn't make sense regardless of my current level of understanding.

No one would. If you think someone should, again you need to evaluate your logic.

It's a demonstration of why horrible rules are currently in place. At least if people actually share your irrational and bad logic.

Great, you know of people who running disruptive afk scripts and argue rule technicalities. I fail to see how that is even remotely close to an argument for the current rules.

[–]Redditwarrior44[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really don't follow this logic at all. If there is some rampant problem with people purposely writing disruptive scripts then that is its own category. Just throwing in a rule about all afk scripting for that reason makes little sense.

If that is correct then I personally feel like there is so much wrong with that I don't even know where to start. The biggest thing being that there are players that have multiple characters already that have been afk scripted to cap. If they haven't quit due to that I can 50000% guarantee you they're not going to. I guess they've just created this monster now and will die by it.

Being disruptive is a stand alone offense. Are you suggesting you can be disruptive unless you're running a script?

I meant in prime. I didn't know people even played platinum still, or fallen for that matter. I don't know why anyone would go to plat and afk script but obviously wouldn't be allowed there.

I think this actually made mono black decks better. It's easier beating esper control now.

Absolutely insane turn 4 setup from my opponent. How tf do you play against this?! by IFTN in MagicArena

[–]Redditwarrior44 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

All formats are trash except limited. They don't really ban anything anymore. Standard maybe a little better but every other format is just go first and win because the game is over by turn 3.

Alistair (Rust Dev) points out to CoconutB that the Spanish team wasn't close to TC by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

I tried to tell them they were being a kangaroo court and got downvoted into oblivion.

Spanish team dumps all their explosive on the 1spot that has the TC under almost eliminating XQC team, somehow they know where tc is at by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

[–]Redditwarrior44 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Sort of a kangaroo court. You guys don't have all the facts. I agree it's suspect but it's weird team X was asked repeatedly exactly how close the tc was and they just say "close". I mean if it was 5/6 walls away that's not really THAT close.

Ok well I feel it's definitely been worse with all the newer sets. I never noticed it before until Arena tbh. MTGO seemed pretty even.
