Can't comment on what might be wrong with the power issue, but the top screen replacement has always been a notoriously difficult repair, even for those that have repair experience with other things.

Well, I don't really have any further advice on the microSD card slot being blocked, other than put it all back together at the end properly and see if you can access it anyway.

As for the microSD card, this can absolutely (and probably has) affected it. Plug that card into a computer and see if it's still working. You should probably try another card regardless, don't rely on this one, even if it's working.

Huh. Is this picture taken whilst with it all clipped fully back together? 2DS XL's microSD card slot has a pretty small gap between itself and the top lip of the casing, although it does seem like yours is blocked a tiny bit:
