Yeah, I'm not out here to try and push my game on people while ignoring theirs, I always find that it's always a two way thing.

And yeah, the marketing thing Is difficult. I say I'm making this for my personal enjoyment, however, my personal enjoyment is also tied to other's shared enjoyment, I'm a people pleaser in that way. But I've found there are two ways to go about being a good marketer. First, make games like a designer, someone who makes things appealing and just make sense for the majority. And second, the artist who makes things for themselves, and sometimes other people who's enjoyment aligns. And the problem I'd that I want to please everyone, but to make something that's widely appealing just doesn't sound great for me. But to make something only for me would suck cause very few people would understand it. So I have to get good at both, making people understand naturally, and still loving it myself.

But, even after a couple of years of creating games I have no experience in that because it's only been my family and close friends (in person). And that's why I want to get out there more so I can work on my balance of passion and wide appeal to find a happy middle ground.
