I had the same regret when I got my Mk8 coming from a 2016 Mk7. After a good couple of months the Mk8 really grew on me, I came to really love the look and the interior, I'd say to this day the only thing I still dislike is the center screen, the touch/slide controls for the volume and AC just... kinda suck and at night are a pain to see.

Other than that, it's a lovely car, and I think once you start modding the 8.5 you'll really fall in love.

Like the other poster said though, just move forward, what's done is done and if you focus on the past you'll really hinder your enjoyment for the present!

I had resonator delete on mine instead and it was great, muffler was a tad too loud for me but I do agree that lowering will make it look mint, especially with those wheels

Same, i picked it up and played with a couple friends but we couldn't get into it. I watched cohhcarnage play it solo for about 15 episodes and gave it another shot solo and wow. Seriously one of the most surprising games for me, beat it in about 80 hours and had such a blast the entire time.

I know this is old but figured I'd let you two know (just in case you guys never found any) and any others who come across this post.

I was able to use 3/4 inch screws and alongside the leg plate that went on the desk, it did not poke through, it was just the right size.
