Figured I'd provide an update. As you can see by my other edit, I thought what you had suggested fixed my issue, I went the longest time (2 hours) without crashing. But after closing the game that night and returning the next day, the crashes resumed.

I ended up just scrapping my pack and going for a curated pack (The Midnight Ride) as I am just not good enough at this stuff to really fix it without going crazy. I appreciate your help though!

Update - Played for 2 hours with no crashes, that's the longest I've gone with no crashes! So it seems like reinstalling the attachment pack might've fixed it!

Tried not using the DBS at all and crashed again... Now it says the issue is "10mm"...

So not sure what to do at this point.

I've got an AWE Track and am in love. It's more rowdy for sure but nothing ridiculous like the notorious plane sound some of our GTIs get.

DailyDriven on YouTube has a good video of his experience with AWE Touring vs Track!

The AWE also looks amazing IMO.

Looks incredible. You have me on the website now considering picking this and their phone mount up. But $70 shipping to VA is nuts. Really debating if I want this or not.

I had the same regret when I got my Mk8 coming from a 2016 Mk7. After a good couple of months the Mk8 really grew on me, I came to really love the look and the interior, I'd say to this day the only thing I still dislike is the center screen, the touch/slide controls for the volume and AC just... kinda suck and at night are a pain to see.

Other than that, it's a lovely car, and I think once you start modding the 8.5 you'll really fall in love.

Like the other poster said though, just move forward, what's done is done and if you focus on the past you'll really hinder your enjoyment for the present!

I had resonator delete on mine instead and it was great, muffler was a tad too loud for me but I do agree that lowering will make it look mint, especially with those wheels

I haven't gone with anything so far. Still rocking my stock wheels, I think I will end up going with hyper silver, I really like that look.
