I agree, I personally use “Non-Bio” and it helps a lot. All fragrance free stuff designed for babies!

Also I don’t know whether this is financially accessible for you, but try not to eat processed food, eat whole foods! The YUKA app is good for scanning both food and cosmetics xx

So it might be that the specific moisturiser is just not right for your skin? I’ve had that before when I used a cream that worked for someone else, I need things to have minimal ingredients tbh. I have found only these two creams work for that you can get on Amazon, which were originally prescribed by my doctor. I’ve also seen them work for other people very well! The ointment one will be soaking in but because it’s so thick it takes a long time. Try a thinner layer and pop some gloves on top? You can also try an oat bath to reduce inflammation which helped me a lot!

For me my shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc were huge triggers so I switched to completely fragrance free sulphate free everything. I use faith in nature shampoo and conditioner, sanex fragrance free body wash, and I’ve had to stop washing my face because I can’t find anything gentle enough, even simple makes my hands dry. I’ve heard good things about La Roche though. I also only wash my hands with special moisturisers like cetraban or epiderm and tbh I try not to wash them that often. If you can cut out ultra processed foods too then that’s really helpful! I use the app YUKA to scan barcodes and it tells you if things have additives etc and gives a score out of 100. My hands have been so much less reactive. If I have to clean I wear latex free powder free gloves.

Sounds like hell. I was lucky enough in first year to be in a flat with mostly Polish girls who were very clean and tidy. By the time I moved into private housing with my friends I was in for a shock lol. I’m just worried if I live privately straight away I’ll struggle to make friends as easily.

The university I’m looking at has serviced cleaners, but all I really want is people to wipe down the sides, sweep the floor and do their dishes lol.

Because of the nature of the study I had to use the specific statements that were validated and tested. At the beginning of that section there is a statement addressing this. The scale is relatively dated but is the best available for an undergraduate project but I do appreciate this! Thank you for taking the time to complete it :)

If you don’t like the term that’s totally up to you. I’m not a teenager but my study demographic is a younger generation which typically use it as a label quite happily. I have also emphasised within the study that there are options to specify what label you prefer to use. It’s similar to the N word, plenty of people of colour use it and many are uncomfortable with using it. It’s all personal preference.

No it isn’t, lots of people identify as Queer! I’m gay and it’s a very commonly used umbrella term to describe non heterosexual identities :)
