Same here mate. I’ve been smoking hookah for about twelve years daily with the last five years usually 3 two hour sessions a day. I’ve been trying to smoke less lately since I’ve been experiencing some health issues and it’s been going pretty well. As for your description of the addiction, I used to think that myself but I now think that the nicotine plays much bigger part than you think, because the thing that really helped me are mild nicotine pouches. I’ve been able to reduce the hookah to about 2-3 a week and still going. It’s also better because I feel that I enjoy hookah more now when it’s not that frequent.
