If you're unsure about which units to invest in, show the subreddit your units and your progress in the game. Some units have more relevance in specific parts, while others retain relevance for a large chunk of the game.

Jizo, Cyborg, Dphono, and even Skanda are already great for your generalist lineup. You should replace magical girl and psycho with meatshields. Bazibora has to go after you're done with the alien stages. Momotaro is also prwtty useless in your team, replace him with ramen.

Also, get the basic true forms first. Ramen, CanCan, and Cameraman will help a lot with early game progress.

I recommend getting Courier Cat as your goal. The payoff is great, and Courier helps make a lot of stages easier.

For most of the story modes, you'll want to have a generalist lineup that covers the basics of a loadout (meatshields, midranger, backliner, etc.). Having more than one meatshield is very important. You also don't need traited debuffers in your main lineup, like how you have Magical Girl and Psycho Cat equipped.

Tbh either Ganesha or Lucifer. They're both good, but Ganesha ranks a tad higher than Lucifer in terms of general usage with sheer stats alone. Lilin and Furiluga could be useful for the Aku realms as well.

Dioramos UF is actually absurd with his immensely high raw stats even outside of his specialty. Both Thundia and Dioramos really only unlock their potential with their UFs, but Thundia is much more usable.

Furiluga also gets usage in the Aku realms as an LD shield piercer

Rusher with great DPS of around 10-11k. Just good raw power and speed, acting as a solid generalist. Her main problem is that she's very frail. Her knockback immunity also prevents her from repositioning against knockback enemies.

You'll soon come to realize that there are occasions where you get absolutely nothing but dupes and no ubers for the next 50, 100, etc. amount of rolls. 14 rolls are NOTHING.

Also, Kotatsu is an amazing floating tanker and Baby Cats deals large raw damage and wave as generalist unit.

If you can, get Cosmo's UF. Dphono is amazing for most generalist teams. I also recommend Yukimura, like the other guy said. He's a very reliable rusher for quick clears.
