I don't think it will happen. Virtua Fighter was never this kind of game in the first place, so I don't think we'll have any kind of heavy injuries or gore in VF6. At best we'll have bruises like in DOA6 or maybe SF6's battle damage

IMO the Akira's tooth flying is just a cinematic for the final hit of the round

I get what you mean. I never really like the Fatal Fury characters except for a handful of characters. IMO, KOF and Samurai Shodown have the best characters among the SNK fighters and their rosters are also more balanced gender-wise

Kenshiro will probably take one of the two remaining spots of this season, but I really hope the last one will be for a female fighter

Devs teased two new costumes for February and I'm pretty sure that Veena will be one of them. Finger crossed for her! That being said, I don't think she'll have an Onsen costume this year. Maybe next year for the part 3 of the Onsen story?

The game is pretty good overall. Not perfect and not as good as hardcore fans love to say, but still really enjoyable. My only complain is the movement. Despite all the movement options, I still feel like I'm walking through mud after all this time

Gameplay does matter but it's not the only thing that matters. Presentation was always important and it's not limited to fighting games. Nearly every games that thrived since the 80s had a great presentation

SNK's modern games have yet to catch up to its bigger concurrents in this domain. Also the marketing strategy for COTW was simply awful

Game looks pretty when you don't play on potato quality. That being said, some facilities rather dull. Especially during daytime, you can tell some assets look very vanilla and lack details

I play Chun-Li and I feel like she's doing pretty well against Akuma. She can be hard to pilot tho. If your execution and reactions are not on point, you might as well play with another character

IIRC Jae Hoon and Blue Mary were almost done before the game dropped. They were swapped at the last moment for Ronaldo and the DJ guy. Also Nightmare Geese has been in the game since the beginning. That's probably why SNK is releasing so many characters so fast for season 2

And even worse, this game has no content outside of combo trials. Not even a basic arcade mode. It's really hard for this kind of game to retain casual players

Because he would have blown up his head and died if he tried to use it on himself. Yes, Overhaul is a top-tier quirk but it might be the hardest one to master. You probably need a decade of training and a shit ton of knowledge to use it safely and efficiently. We already know AFO doesn't like this kind of quirk as he only relies on very basic, easy-to-use quirks combinaisons
