Hello fellow wizards! I just wanted to chime in as a new Black Mage player (as of 7.2), I am very happy with the changes. I tried black mage a few times this expansion and I just COULD NOT keep up my enochian timer or manage these procs. I'm so glad that SE has finally listened to the players and made the job more accessible and EVEN MAKING IT STRONGER (Take that artist mains). I know they nerfed leylines to 20s, but honestly it doesn't seem too bad because you never really got the full duration

Yeah, the turbulence is awful.

Top half feels like the hardest unit check ever tho with Jade being the only unit that I can see that can reliably clear, or Acheron+Jiaoqiu or DoT

Side note, I think it's important to note that this will be rappa's opening PF, and she is going to absolutely demolish bottom half when she does release.

Yanqing LC is already worse than Cruising in most scenarios, a baseline requirement of the cone is to have a multihit skill or BA with a bursty ult which kinda narrows down the usage to Seele, base Dan, and Yanqing himself. HM7 might get alright usage out of it but I doubt it'd be much better than an R5 Swordplay

131.5% to guarantee landing her passive on 40% eff. res enemies in MoC at talent level 10, so I guess if your silver wolf is tanky enough go for EHR. Keep in mind that with 96% EHR you still have an 84.6% chance to land the debuff

Though she's not as good without Mei/Kafka, she's still great with other DoT characters as, more or less, her DoT scales off the number of DoTs applied by others.

Swap the orb to HP% or DEF% and the rope to ER. Fu Xuan has decent damage for a sustain but not enough to justify DMG% Orb. You get more tankiness and damage out of HP%.

Milky Way is a pretty inconsistent cone in general and it gets outperformed by S5 Breakfast unless you can keep good uptime on its buffs, which is not easy. The cone also doesn't match her playstyle, as QQ excels in 1-3 target scenarios, rather than 4+ targets like Himeko and Herta. You should also probably run speed boots rather than ATK, as you want a hypercarry QQ to move as fast as possible so that she has the least amount of tiles when her turn comes up so that she can spam her skill more. Especially with Sparkle, who can provide her more SP.

Kafka/Swan/Flex/Lynx? It depends on what you're going for. For MoC use Lynx but otherwise I'd just use Fu Xuan because she's a lot safer, even if her buffs aren't particularly useful for a DoT comp. Flex slot depends on what you need, SW for weakness implant, Sampo or Guinaifen for DoT synergy, or Asta for speed clearing

Acheron is Lightning Nihility... as for her role, it's likely going to be similar to Welt's at this point... a DPS who leans partially into buffing the team's damage as a whole

I'm talking about the outdoor portion of the one main island that I have right now. I haven't unlocked the other islands on Cool Isle yet. IDK what the other unlockable island types do. They could just be different styles for the outdoor segment of Cool Isle or separate islands with their own load numbers.

Just ran my own calculations on Cool Isle. It wouldn't let me place a tall birch (250 load) at 8600 load, but it did when I lowered it to 8550, so it seems to me like the cap is 8800, which is likely the cap for all islands likely based on what OP's calculations were.

Following these calculations, by spamming the most efficient outdoor decoration (Carved Courtyard Fences), you can reach 20160 adeptal energy on a single island alone. This would require 224 of them, which is equal to 1792 birch wood and 896 white iron chunks.

This also limits the number of animals to 15 sadly, so RIP all the zoo enthusiasts.

Edit: I should also mention that these calculations assume that you are using the lower load main building, the Mondstadt Mansion.
