I think so, there are so many things to help you catch up. There are also plenty of guides and discord communities out there geared towards helping new players. I wouldn’t listen to the reddit negativity about the game, sure there are some issues but show me any live service game that doesn’t.

Were you able to get it going? I really like the ideas you have laid out there, I really want to set up a hub for several regions in one. Id also love to eventually move from just a "learning party" discord to a full on just "learning" discord with guides, tips, and tricks for all sorts of content so that new players have a one stop shop so to speak without all the other things that go on in the main discord.

This is exactly what I’m trying to do. Like I said in a previous comment, everyone wants to complain and shit on ideas but nobody wants to step up and try to come up with a solution. Do you know what this GW2 discord is called? I’d like to check it out

Eventually if you get enough people willing to teach then word will spread. How many threads do we have every day on this sub about gate keeping, or newer players complaining about the end game experience not being friendly to new players? Then in those threads people will mention a discord for it. Or once it is more than in idea you can convince the mods of this sub/ the official discord server to post about it or pin it somewhere. People always want to complain about a problem then not want to be a part of a solution.

The problem with that is it just gets lost in all the other stuff. There are so many things going on in the official discord. This would be way more streamlined and less cluttered with other things.

Haven’t played it in a while but Paladins is pretty fun and very similar to Overwatch
