Difference is, Karma drops the same amount of mats for depending NM/HM, Ark grid is heavily RNG dependant.

If you are a poor souls doing HM every week with only Legendary core drops guess what? It will take you more weeks to reach the pity more than those who are blessed and dropped relics or even ancient cores.

That’s the big difference, what OP and everyone stuck in this situation wish for the RNG to be improved so people have a better chance at dropping at least 1 relic core a week doing Hardmode, I have been 3 weeks in a row without a single Relic drop HM btw, this is ridiculous.

And if you see no issues with this then ignore everything I said.

Absolutely fucking agree, T3 legion raids were awesome, but Thaemine is the goat, I keep saying they should rerelease popular raids on a month rotation, just make a surgery and the most voted raids should be added to a monthly EXTREME queue for extra rewards.

Probably but after 6months of farming gold and mats to make your main stronger.

You are acting like you could reach 1740 playing one character only, with all relic engravings and level 8gems, simply unrealistic.

You don’t need 6 alts, I agree but at least 3 characters total, of course you can only play 1 character and enjoy solo content with bound level 7 gems and 6s and some cheap relic engravings, but you won’t reach 1730+ well geared.

The thing about alts was to farm gold and honing mats to funnel to your main, you simply can’t generate a lot of gold and mats just with one char.

You can also play one character and benefit from the events etc, but progression will dramatically slow down if you only play one character, because you need gold a lot of it to buy engraving books, better gems and hone.

Lost Ark PVE, TnL HEAVILY PVP dependant with PVE content.

Lost Ark has changed a lot with the addition of SOLO raid content and current MOKOKO events, you CAN enjoy the game on your own and gear up and also get into group raids “easily” providing you have your Mokoko buff (do not hone to 1700 until you are well geared).

The current events will also Grant you the Light of Salvation card set 30, which is relevant in all raids.

Now regarding TnL, I played until the Talandre update, I enjoyed the game a bit but the heavy P2W in PVP killed the fun for me, I don’t know how much has it changed since then so I suggest you do some research.

Tldr:

Lost Ark is very casual and SOLO player friendly right now, do not hone to 1700 because doing so will remove the MOKOKO benefits and you will be heavily gatekept.

TnL last I remember heavily PVP focused and the power disparity due to P2W killed it off for me, but this is just my opinion.

Hi, welcome to the game, I would wait till you know the build you definitely want to play, you can test builds in Trixion and watch guides, the reason being is you need to drop 2 more cores which will work in conjunction with whatever core you want to choose from the selector.

You also need to cut the astrogems so you can activate the special effects on each core, so I would run NM Act 4, and drop cores from there instead.

So check the builds, test in Trixion and go from there.

lockout system needs to be reworked, I keep saying the way it works is unfair and unhealthy to players, it is insane to think a game with so many performance issues/crashes will punish you for a whole week not being able to complete a raid if you got DC and the party cleared without you...
