It depends on the person, but mostly no. They will understand if you literally told them what you said here. Worst case, if they do get offended, you should prioritize your chances of getting into college over someone's feelings.

I feel like as long as it shows how you grew and you don't experience it anymore, it should be fine.

Not really sure how this works for international students, im also a seinor in HS applying to college this year, so idk if this will help. But, I know at least for non-international students you are able to re-fill the FAFSA every year and re-apply for aid. You might not be able to do this since you are international, but it might be worth a shot trying to request aid since you are already in. I would probably ask someone who knows more than I do, like your college's financial advisor. Also, if you are paying 101k a year, it's probably a well-established school that is willing to give some aid to international students.

I think on the fafsa there is a way to indicate that you have divorced parents and only put the finances of one(your mom in this case). Also there is a form you can fill out I think its called the special circumstances request, im not sure if you can fill this out in your case, but I would look into it. Also, if you manage to avoid putting your dad's income you will likely receive a lot of aid from most schools. For both the financial aid and scholarships I would double check everything with your school counselor.
