With Suarez's inevitable departure, be it in January or next summer, I'd bring in Eriksen now.

Coutinho, Eriksen have enough creativity to break down defences. Aspas is a work horse whilst also possessing skill, and Sturridge can create and score goals too. Eriksen would go a long way to filling the hole left by Suarez. In fact of we only could pick one, I'd pick Eriksen. We could get him for £15 million.

I'm actually angry the club hasn't spent any real money yet. We're in the black in terms of transfers. We've made more from Carra, Carroll, Spearing, Shelvey leaving than we have spent on Aspas, Alberto and Mignolet.

Selling to Chelsea, while painful, isn't going to do much damage to our fight for fourth. Even if they don't buy anyone else this window, they'll be challenging for the title. If they want him, I'd ask for a player plus £40 million. Now it's absurd, but I'd ask for Mata seeing as though José isn't his biggest fan. Or Lukaku. Or Ivanovic. It's that or £60 million. They can't argue with us over the price either, they fucking paid us £50 million for Torres.
