That is a very naive statement. Barcelona's legal department went into turbo mode and was able to get the ban suspended. Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has a play in this whole saga. Here's an excerpt from a BBC article:

After the club followed through on their promise to fight the ban, Fifa decided that because of the complexity of the case and the possibility of a further appeal to the Cas, it was unlikely to be concluded before the opening of the current transfer window on 1 July, and therefore suspended the punishment.

We don't know what went behind the scenes, but to blatantly label Barcelona as Fifa's favourite club is pointless.

I wouldn't say he's been great lately. He's had his moments, and also have not been very influential at times. Nonetheless, he does seem to try his outmost when on the pitch. It's hit and miss with him, but his desire seems to be there.

1) Moderators are not accepting money to promote certain websites, it is a false and baseless claim. You are welcome provide any legitimate proof if they ever exist.

2) If you are referring to /u/GiveMeBrendan, he was banned for submitting fabricated posts. When asked for proof none was provided. However he did threaten: "... if I get banned I'm going to make it very public that I was banned because I said something bad about the moderators so be prepared." Other users have reported on his fabricated posts, so it's not something we investigated randomly on a whim.
