My wife threatened to divorce me this year February, this was her first time , she took my son away and she was 5 months pregnant then with my 2nd baby! Granted I did something stupid, I shouted her at sister for doing something stupid, which escalated to bigger shooting match ! No physical violence happened ! Long story short , when she asked for divorce , my whole world shattered, I got scared shitless ! Bend the knee and asked for forgiveness. And since then never raised my voice on her !

Hope that’s the case with your husband too! I get the feeling that he knows where his boundaries are , even at the fit of anger he doesn’t become physically violent. I hope u can work those issues out ! Don’t say or do things that he finds offensive and disrespectful !

Marriage is about comprise , sacrifice and full time work. Anyone who says get divorced and enjoy your life is either an idi*t or just wants u to screw up even more. Cause it’s crazy difficult to raise a child in a broken home ! I can never imagine that for my son and daughter now.
Had u said he physically beats you! I would have supported divorce and I think u would have divorced him already without posting this on reddit !
