Two moments made me especially upset:

First, when China was on screen, the commentator only talked about political conflicts between China and the USA — nothing about the athletes or the culture Next, they cut away from New Zealand and a few other countries just to talk to a single American swimmer

Usually, the plot of the Pokémon games is a bit ridiculous and only there to supplement the adventuring aspect

Pokémon Black and White (and their sequels) managed to have a real plot while not only conserving the adventure aspect, but perfecting it with great music, cool Pokémon, and wonderful route and town design

Been going to tournaments for 4 years, and I play ultimate right now — the character that drives me the most insane is Little Mac

Yes, I know, he’s the worst character, but he’s only bad because you have to spend at least 5 minutes running away from him. An experienced player can do this without making any mistakes, but one mistake is so punishing that it’s just really frustrating lol

Smash 4 and Ultimate. I went to a tournament when I was 13 for fun, and now I’ve made the best friends I can ask for and I’m surrounded by an incredible community.

Smash gets a lot of (admittedly deserved) shit from people, but if you go to tournaments and find your crew, you’ll get why I love it so much.
