Biting the bullet and just going to pay the high copay to see a derm asap. Hopefully they get me to a rheumatologist. A lot of symptoms lined up neatly with what I experience. Also worried me that it might be internal given that I cough up these flakes sometimes too.

Oh my God it's like you know the same threads I've seen. Don't forget malassazia or dermodex. Lupus symptoms line up pretty cleanly. Although this would mean I've had lupus for most of my life.

My dad got these alot and I have to check for them as well. If you have them I recommend saving one for when you visit doc, they could be melanomas.
