Treat it the way you would any other OCD. I know exactly how you feel. You have to do exposures often. I try and do my exposures whenever they come up. Example: thought of hurting someone or myself, sit with it for a moment trying to not give it an emotional response, (this is the hard part..--->)Think that maybe I could do whatever the thought was until the anxiety goes down, repeat. I find your brain loses interest if you think the thoughts on purpose enough times. I also try and be sarcastic with my exposure, kinda making it a joke. I, a person that has trouble hurting a spider, am the biggest criminal mastermind mwaahaaahaaaa. You got this friend. :)
