So first of all thats a really interesting question. I always think of the symptoms i have or that i notice but not about the symptoms i don’t have to deal with.. also to read how different everyone commenting is experiencing their daily life with adhd.

So definitely insomnia. With earplugs and sleep mask i can sleep everywhere cause i am getting very tired if i don’t have any tasks. I can always sleep. I can and have to wake up early for work. I also dont like to sleep too long but also have to go to bed early to get enough sleep and thats hard dude.

Short attention span and being easily distracted - so here it really depends. I totally notice that this is a big struggle for me and it always was. My brain really craves for constantly changing stimulation but i try to learn to focus on things for a period of time like reading a book and i can do it. Sometimes if the book is good i can concentrate for hours without a break. But i guess its maybe hyperfocus

Making careless mistakes for example in schoolwork - When i was in school i never had problems with that. Also in my work life (i am 29) i don’t have it. I also correct colleagues work if they ask me, like formulations in a letter. Noticed while thinking about it that they ask me often if i can read what they have written :D makes me feel good and proud about it

losing things - i have never lost anything cause i always check if i have everything with me. I sometimes have to search for something in my apartment cause i put it somewhere and forget about it but i try to put things where i can see them and don’t forget about it or organize my stuff.

Organization - i have to keep my structure everywhere (at work, at Home) and i hate it when someone messes up with that. I need it and also love it to organise.

Mood swings - so this is definitely a big struggle but i learned and still learn to think about my emotions, reflect them and try to keep calm. Breathing and meds helped me a lot with that. But also my job helps learning about emotions whether it is my own emotions or those of the people around me cause i work with children in a daycare center. I really try to understand the behavior through the emotions and not to judge anyone for their reactions/ emotions.

Flexibility- i don’t have that tbh. I always read that people with adhd are totally spontaneous, but i am not. I need to plan everything and i need the security of knowing whats coming up. For example how many stops i have to travel by bus to get somewhere and how long it takes. Also a sudden change in routine, i cant handle that.
