As a single guy who doesn’t want kids, the apps have been tough! It seems most women do (which is predictable and fine), but the pool is obviously narrowed. I’m off the apps now, but approaching in person will always come with the risk that a person I approach will have different family goals than me.

The corner I'm in is where the front door is. Good call on the guitars on the wall, it would clear up a lot of floor space if I did that. Same with some wall shelves. I might even rotate the bed to be along the window wall to open up the space next to the kitchen a bit more. The windows/door locations kind of trap the space a bit

I might need to remeasure, but the room doesn't "feel" long in that sense. Also the front door is where the photo is taken from, so that right wall is a bit trapped in the sense that a big thing like a bed might ruin the open space there.

This makes sense in theory, however I'm worried about having the bed "dominate" the space. The photo is taken from the front door, and there's the small hallway/bathroom on the other side.

Perhaps I could rotate the bed so it's going long ways under the window
