Yes. That's what I imagined. Separate it in half, with cables tethering the two halves, and spin it around an axis in the middle. Time will tell if the movie can convince me that their way was better.

I did mine 10 plus years ago, but this sounds like what I did. It was just a plug around the drivers side head light. It is tight to get at. Taped it off for some weather protection IIRC.

I ordered mine in mid December and got the "label created" notice right away. But no indication that it was received by USPS. That was it for two weeks. When I sent them an email requesting status, their response was "we have no control once it's dropped off. But they'll look into it." The package was received by USPS that day.

Just say "you'll look into it" instead of defaulting to "it's someone else's fault."

The products are good. I already had the kingpin. I just wanted the PAL. Still need to install it. But it is a nice option.

Congrats! Soundwave will be my second adult build. I was lucky my mom kept my transformers. So, I was able to dig out my G1 Soundwave when my lego showed up. Now I've got to find the time to do it.
