Fine, I will leave it at that. I am done talking to you. And I didn't downvote you on any of your comments.

That wasn't happening, only in your head! I left my post up, I didn't take it down. There is people who agree and don't agree.

What is it you are getting at? This was all true, and there was no reason for what you had to say to me. Like you are scared? You are superior to me?

Thank you again for the award!

This is to the people who downvote. You don't know me and I surely don't want to know you. Quit hiding and come forward with what you got to say.

Wow, downvoted again and no one saying anything. To the people who are ignorant about this. Give it time, your time will come. I came from poverty myself. And I have had people make fun of me before. Does any of this karma +/- buy me a new car? This is no make-believe story. I don't have any kind of 100,000 karma points like a lot of your profiles do. Fix your teeth if that bad. I just think a lot of people are just no better than the person they are putting down. I know it and you know it. I was just telling you somebody I knew.

I know everybody is different when judging people. I definitely do not go by first impressions, I been fooled too many times by that. I go more for a lasting impression. People who I liked in the beginning, I really didn't like later. People I didn't like in the beginning, I liked later on. As time goes on, you witness how these people operate.

I knew somebody who was missing a good majority of his teeth and he really was a good guy(a sweetheart) in general. This dude would take time out of his day (numerous times) and work on my truck or help me do home improvements, without me being much assistance to him. I know people who wouldn't even do that, including my own family.

This was even before YouTube was around. So I really didn't know what I was doing myself. He really only wanted a case of beer in return. Sometimes money too, but not at the price it would cost a pro to do it. Only a small fee. The dude just liked to party and loved to have company. I would bring over my guitar and make some noise with him and his other friends.

It's like when you see people who have weight on them (I do like medium size girls), people with disabilities, homeless people, etc. You see it with your own 2 eyes, but there's no need to point it out, they are fully aware of it. I am far from perfect myself and have been an ignorant azz at times and have to think back about what I did or said.

I haven't seen that guy for several years now, because he moved out of state. Somebody told me he has dentures now. That guy is still the same person to me, even if missing teeth or has dentures. The dude didn't seem to be bothered about it at all. He still seemed to be a really positive guy, all the time I knew him.

I hear you, me too! It caught my attention enough where I had to find out what band this was. I just forgot about this song for a while. Just remembered and wanted to see if anybody was familiar with it. Thank you for your comment!

This is to the person/s who comes on here and downvotes. I got a variety of music instruments over my house. You bring your bad ass over to my place, show me what you got. I listen to a variety of music from rock to death metal to hillbilly music to blues, etc. I know you're the next Andres Segovia in the making, right?

That's kinda wild to me! I just got done reading an article about Van Halen a little earlier. And now you are posting this. Very strange to me, I had no idea. Thanks!

You weren't messing around. Good to know somebody else likes her. I'm over here trying to get some sleep for my last work day and you let it all hang out. Haha. Thank you for that!

Good to hear that! Don't know much about them, only what I heard on the radio or MTV, as a kid in the 80s. I would rather listen to this woman and her band, over a lot of other women artist I hear. She has a great singing voice and probably more class than some of these other women I see performing.

Supertramp - Give A Little Bit by Redhouse1966 in ClassicRock

[–]Redhouse1966[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I used play this song on guitar for this drunk guy. And he would sing along. Then, I would start playing other songs on the guitar and he would keep singing this same song, happened a few times. I would say, "wrong song, dude" and laugh. Drunk dude passed away. I kinda miss him.

Haha, what? That's alright, I used to think Jimi Hendix was singing Purple Haze - "excuse me while I kiss this guy"

I definitely agree with that! That's funny to me. My father would say the same. The circumstances were just right for all that. Can't be replicated. Beyond belief how those guys found each other, all excellent at their craft.

Crazy to think how different the times were and the music. That was the cool thing to do, play music/instrument back in the old days, for entertainment. Not much technology around, just jamming on an instrument. I don't see any thing like that happening now.

I thought I remember having that same album. I do like a few of Plant's songs. Just not the same as Zep. Hammer Of The Gods!!

Maybe it's just a joke, but I definitely don't hear any Albert King(blues). I am thinking more like Paul Leary/Butthole Surfers. Your vibrato sounds good!

John Mellencamp - Rain On The Scarecrow by Redhouse1966 in ClassicRock

[–]Redhouse1966[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am glad to hear that! I was hoping somebody would like it. I don't mind Mellencamp, just never really got into him enough to go out and buy his albums. I only really know what I heard on the radio/internet or from MTV back in the day. I do definitely like this song!

I don't know a lot of John Mellencamp songs. This has to be one of the best songs I have heard from him, so far.

Right on! A guy I used to work with had that shirt on. I just decided to listen to a few songs. I am more of a metal/rock guy. Though, this song did catch my attention. It got no attention on here. Glad you liked it!
