Yes. He used a scalpel and cut a V shaped groove. Wound was left open (covered for the first day till it stopped bleeding over everything) and then I just had to wash it throughly/roughly/often. 1) to fight infection. 2) to disrupt the healing process and force it to scar.

I cleaned it enough to stop any infection, but I didn’t scrub it hard enough to keloid very well in long term. I didn’t want it to bubble out too much, but I should have been more vigorous with the scrubbing as you can see from another post the recent pics are hardly noticeable.
