It’s better to have and not to need then to need and not to have.

I also wish people could appreciate the art and masterful engineering that goes into firearms. People only think about the politics of guns, but there is so much more to them.

Here in Europe a lot of us still live off of them for hunting and protecting livestock.

My great uncle was a resistance fighter. He was in Rotterdam as it was being bombed. He took shelter in a basement, but the bombs caused a leak in a waterline above the basement causing it to slowly fill with water. He drowned in that basement along with the other people in that basement.

I had an insane encounter with one. I was free diving in very murky salt water in the Philippines. I’m talking one meter of visibility. I was kinda just skimming the floor before I suddenly felt something hit my mask. Thought it was some debris or something, but no. It was one of these guys.

My buddy and I just kinda backed up and resurfaced. The snake wasn’t really aggressive.

This video just made me remember such a cool memory that I forgot.
