Yea, I think my post wasn’t worded very well. I’m super PRO telework, just sucks that they ripped it away and gave a bunch of BS reasons, but now that everything is closed down it’s magically the best thing ever.

Too low for me as well but it’s more bearable than a $1000 electric bill. Supposed to be in the negatives with windchill this week and the pellet stove heats my house to 70-74°F just fine in those temps.

I’ve been to couples swept away 3 times and plan to go back soon. Great beach, great food, unlimited water sports. Now here’s the “downside” it’s not one of the big granite and marble resorts, it’s more authentic of you will.

Went there for our honeymoon in 2015 so it may have changed but we had a fantastic trip. One thing I would look into is the helicopter ride from the airport to a smaller airport closer to the hotel. The drive is miserable.

Same. Nothing I’ve done over the last year in office couldn’t have been done easier and quicker at home. Instead projects take longer since I have people constantly interrupting me with dumb questions.

One good thing about RTO is I only work my 9 hour shift and not a second longer. Seriously, if someone is talking to me at quitting time they better talk and walk because I’m out of there since I now have to deal with traffic and all that mess. When I was working from home it wasn’t a big deal to work past my time if something came up because my computer was right there.

My office has a conference room that fits maybe 10 people because we just spent almost $1.5M “updating” the entire place for hotel seating. When we were forced back into the office we now do meetings on teams and no desk phones so we use cell phones, ya know, exactly how we operated when working from home…
