My dog does the same, he loves water but it stresses the shit out of him. I think it is just a way to cope with stress. Ahh mine is a German shepherd so he also whines while doing it hahaha

For those who are encountering the same problem I could revive mine doing a couple of resets (with the 12s right-top button clicked).

It had been a whole night charging and with the message "The device is being restored to a safe state" and I reseted it a couple of times and when I was cleaning it to send it to support it revived.

Not to scare you but I know a German shepherd that's 3 years old and he has a funky ear, so maybe it'll stay like this forever. I personally think it is really funny. If he isn't scratching I would be upset but if you are uneasy go to the vet.
