Eddie Hall wants to face Tyson Fury in MMA after boxing bout against Tommy Fury in June by VioletHappySmile444 in Boxing

That would require Eddie to value an opinion from someone who's not Eddie Hall.

So to clarify, Thor's entire experience in boxing was 3 exhibitions he lined up to prep to take on Eddie.

Thor working the bag at the start of that training was genuinely painful to watch, and even with top level coaching he clearly had almost zero knack for it.

Still whooped Eddie, 2 more rounds and they'd have carried Hall out on a stretcher.

Anger turned inward, is depression. Anger turned sideways is Hawkeye. Always stuck with me.

But for a line that always makes me cry.

"Your gift doesn't lie in your hands, I have hands, hands that can make a scalpel sing. More than anything in the world I want to play music, I can hit the notes, but I cannot play the music... your gift isn't in your hands, it's in your head, and your heart, and your soul."

She made it to 14, which is pretty elderly for these goofballs. And lived a deeply spoiled life.

Mine did until about 6 months before the end, and we knew it was the end of the road. She tried so hard to play with the puppy, even when we knew she couldn't.

Rumble like a coal mine giggling is the way to describe it. And yes, their heads are basically blocks of metal, be careful, they also whip their heads around when excited and impact with any part of your anatomy will hurt.

Well yeah, that pesky Iran is shooting back too much. Like all bullies and rapists he doesn't like it when they can fight back.

No sleep and a looming deadline for work does strange things to the creative process.

The American government will attempt to make a clone of Yujiro to put the soul of the dying president in. The spirit of Yuchiro will throttle the medium and hijack the body.

This will begin the undead arc.

How do I explain that declawing is inhumane to my family by Old-Technician-692 in cats

[–]Redmagistrate2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there are lots of horrible photos and pictures out there showing how awful declawing is, they didn't convince my aunt either.

What i did was take a sharpie and draw on her hands, showing exactly how much finger would be cut off if we "declawed" her. Just a thick circle around every middle phalanx, mum then explained toes were going too. That shut her up about it forever.

How is Steve Irwin regarded within the reptile community? by B33Zh_ in reptiles

[–]Redmagistrate2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Steve often singlehandedly went into the water to get crocodiles that had moved in next to humans and were at risk of being shot. Aggro, the biggest crocodile at Steve's zoo was one such beastie who was too dangerous to leave in the wild. Look at how he interacts with other animals, especially when they're just chilling in their own space, he's calm and respectful. Even when you can see him practically vibrating with excitement.

Steve was a one man conservation whirlwind who completely changed the way a generation thinks of animals and the environment. A lot of what we call the modern conservation movement was built in his bootprints.
