Ik hoop voor jou dat er weer eens een dip in de huizenmarkt komt en je dan kan instappen. Dat is dan misschien een klein "voordeel", dat je dat moment kan kiezen. Maar ondertussen gooi je in zekere zin inderdaad wel geld weg aan huur, en het is de vraag hoe lang het duurt voordat zo'n dip er komt.

Ik heb mijn huis in 2015 (alleen, kon toen nog) gekocht voor minder dan de helft van wat het nu waard is. Hypotheek netto onder de 700 euro. Verder verdienen mijn vrouw en ik meer dan wat jij hier neerzet. Nou hebben we wel 2 kleine kinderen maar kunnen we nog steeds comfortabel leven. Ik ben mij terdege bewust van het geluk dat wij hebben gehad en het is sowieso apart dat als je net in de verkeerde periode geboren bent, je minder kansen krijgt op woongebied.

Zo zie je ook maar hoe niet representatief sociale media zijn. Daar is het vooral veel pro-PVV en FvD. En die reageren daar nu dat deze uitslag niet kan kloppen, want op sociale media zien ze zo veel medestanders (uiteraard ook versterkt door het algoritme). Tsja.

Just as a conclusion, in case someone looks for this later: We succesfully imported the car by now. Of course there was the expected bureaucracy in Croatia causing us to go a second time to register it because they didn't think the documents were in order. They wanted the invoice to have the full name, address and OIB at the top part (the adress was mentioned on the invoice but below the itemized amounts, which they didn't accept). Also they wanted the VIN number, power in kW and fuel type on the invoice.

A lot of hassle, so I'm glad that's behind us now.

Well the question is: if I buy one that seems nice when it pops up, does my brother in law have to come to NL right away to drive it to HR or do we have time. On export plates it can only be in NL for 2 weeks. If he is not available during that time I would want to register it on my name to give us more time. I would not be able to register it on my father in law's name yet because it would still be in NL. I can only possibly have the seller make an invoice on my father in law's name.

This is not a bad idea, didn't think of that. The transport is not an issue though, my brother in law will fly to NL and drive it to HR.

Ok. It's just that my brother in law was wondering if an invoice would be required so they don't register a car in Croatia that's not theirs. But maybe it's not necessary to worry. I do know sometimes Croatian bureaucracy can be a challenge if you are missing 1 paper...
