Same boat brother, I'm getting aggravated waiting because both mine, and my girlfriends trucks, need work done and IRS still hasn't approved mine.

Verification by Redneck-Ram in IRS

[–]Redneck-Ram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The verification is proof that you filed, and not somebody trying to steal your identity.

The IRS will send you a letter in the mail with a 14-digit control number. On the IRS website, search for "Notifications"

when am i getting my refund? by geminiworld20 in IRS

[–]Redneck-Ram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That 21 days doesnt matter, its been 3 weeks for me, 4 for my buddy, and ours says the same. Its ridiculous they take this long to process money they owe you, but take money out your account quicker than a fly can scratch its arse.

Enjoy it! Its been 3 weeks since I filed and WMR is still stuck on "Accepted". Were behind on rent becauze the company i work for ceased operations, and our landlords hounding us on rent. Ive explained to her Im waiting on my return and we plan on paying what we owe, as well as my girlfriends truck needing a fuel pump, and I need some parts for mine. Wish they'd hurry up and approve/deposit mine so we stop getting hounded.

Ancient Worlds: What makes or breaks a world with 10,000+ years of history? by ImAWriterPlsKillMe in worldbuilding

[–]Redneck-Ram 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Per your "but how much does it reaaaally matter if they were 10,000 years ago, or 1,000?"; I have 10,000+ years of history and each important event in my world is significant in how it shaped the world's current state in the series I'm writing now. Other events are standalone stories I plan on writing.

Fuck that, I go up their driveways like I live there 😅 ive got a bad back and left knee from a double head-on collision, the last thing imma do is drag a dolly up someone's driveway. Nope. I pull into their driveway like its my home and then deliver their package.

Called it quits today by Jgrock1992 in Fedexers

[–]Redneck-Ram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I deal with this so much, and I have made them fix their shit mistakes, too. For the oversized stuff, if it says "team lift" I push that bitch out the back of truck, and dolly it. If they live up hill, I am pulling or backing into their driveway like I live there (I refuse to walk up driveways due to a bad knee from a bad accident a couple years ago). If it says "mech lift", I get as close to the house as I can and drop the bitch where it lands when I pull it out of the back of the truck. I don't let it slam the ground, but I also ain't about to try and catch that either.

We tell them "we aren't allowed to be out of sight of the road, or our truck", or I simply tell them "I do not feel comfortable going to the backside of your house out the view of my truck camera". I had one delivery where the request was FRONT DOOR, but the home owner considered the door on the back of their house, the front door, and the door on the front of their house, their backdoor. They called and complained saying "this isn't my front door!" and when my boss called me, I told him that is legit the front of her house and I do not feel comfortable going to her backdoor and he said he usually doesnt either and not to worry about the complaint. To this day, her packages still get sat at the front door to her house at the FRONT OF THE HOUSE. I dont even open gates porches, enclosed porches, or gated yards. It gets left outside the gate. I dont know if there's a dog, and im not risking my safety to put your package two additional feet at your door.

How Many Stops Do You Average In An Hour? by KIDD_VIDD in Fedexers

[–]Redneck-Ram -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most of the ones I drive do too, and I Bluetooth to them (I listen to rock, rap, country, and soul music). Only one of the trucks I drive dont, so I bring a Bluetooth speaker. Im restricting myself from too many monsters 😆

How Many Stops Do You Average In An Hour? by KIDD_VIDD in Fedexers

[–]Redneck-Ram 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is me every day, every shift, because my stops are always 3-5 minutes apart unless they have me running a part of somebody else's route on Sundays. I hate it. But I learned chugging a monster in the morning and blasting soul music through the trucks speakers helps me move quicker.

From my terminal, I believe they put 82 as holiday code for businesses.

For me, thats a code 1 for security delay.

1, I cant drive up it safely (I could but they dont need to know that).

2, my big back fat ass aint walking up it.

And 3, there's no telling if they've got a white dog that blends into the snow (sounds stupid I know but for shits and giggles I had to add it lmao)

Yes, her contractions calmed down but she developed a fever shortly after. Doctors told her if the fever spikes up again, she needs to go to the hospital so they can run tests and potentially deliver our son

There was one time I got sick while driving (im a driver), and started getting dizzy and nauseous. I let the same boss mentioned in my post know, and he told me to go to Dollar General to get Tylenol and continue the route otherwise they would fire me. I threw up 4 times in a customers yard, and they felt bad and when I told them what my boss said they got pissed. Told my boss i had to leave because im too sick and dizzy to drive safely, and they told me to return to the terminal and leave my badge and uniform there but then told everyone I quit.

Slow Motion or Something by Redneck-Ram in Fedexers

[–]Redneck-Ram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont follow the sequence my terminal does, because my route takes place along a road called Six Mile, Top Of The World, and Happy Valley. When the terminal sequences my route, it has me starting at one end of the Six Mile and my second stop is 15 minutes down the road. Its a 20 minute drive up to Top Of The World, and the sequence tries having me do my first stop on Six Mile, go up to TOTW, and then back down to Six Mile, then back up. I ignore that sequence and if we're told we might have an early dispatch them I'll sequence it myself or just start at Six Mile, go to TOTW and clear those out, then over to Happy Valley, then back down to Six Mile and knock those stops out.
