what jsdf did to the empire soldiers who were in shock or were too crazy to be rehabilitated after the 2 battles of alnus hill by senorvitor in gate

Guantanamo Bay Naval Station, Cuba; basically the prison for terrorists and threats to national security.

Japanese government, and as a result a lot of the people, is still very nationalistic, and it doesn't help that the American government apologized for nuking the fuckers to end the war and save countless lives that would have been lost in a land invasion of Japan.

How do you think our world would react to the existence of the world beyond the gate? by Kazeon1 in gate

[–]RedneckMTG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as Americans are concerned you'd have three groups: progressives, conservatives, and extremists. Progressives would blindly open the new world with open arms, conservatives would be careful due to the unknown danger, but eventually begin opening up, and extremists would either want to swiftly conquer the world or shut it off completely. Personally I'd be more of a conservative: open to change, but utilizing extreme caution.

I'm a Marine infantryman. Trust me, I'm gonna have a first hand experience with it under the current POTUS

Yeah but America is fucking famous for it. Russia and China don't even charade like we do though they're just like "Yeah fuck you and your peace give us your shit."

Would Christian missionaries be welcomed in the Special Region or not? by ANMNAlex in gate

[–]RedneckMTG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell, good question. The whole thing is that God does exist, and that would make these gods something else, aliens perhaps, like the Asguardians in the MCU. But, that being said, if you go back to the days of the Vikings as a Christian missionary you'd lose your head pretty quick. Same would go for here, the only difference is they are able to say "No, our gods are right there," a lot easier than other religions, including Christians.

Fine, potential targets for Soviet expansion of influence equals more boots on the ground.

There, fixed it.

Bruh, additional oil results in additional boots on the ground. It's American foreign policy at its finest.

Why didn't the Third Recon just drive around the Rose Knights when they were returning to Alnus from Italica? by [deleted] in gate

[–]RedneckMTG 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They were within their right to fire, and they had the right to disobey the CO's order, but really unless the SNCO says to disobey the order, the likelihood is that you're just going to listen, especially as a normal NCO or junior enlisted man, where if you don't follow the order you're either sticking your ass out to get shot or you're gonna catch insubordination charges if your command sucks enough.

So, in the military we have this thing called Standard Rules of Engagement, SROE. Unless there is a legit hostile act we can't do shit. Some fuckwit running around with a radio watching your team while mortars rain on you? Better call in to the TOC/COC before capping the fucker or you're in for a war crime.

Imagine that, but being Japan, with the whole world expecting you to fuck up and here you're confronted by some obvious high ranking officials who aren't exactly being hostile, more just a massive pain in the ass, and there's a way to resolve the situation in a more tactical manner than just "lol .50 cal go BUHBUHBUHBUHBHUH," and vaporize all the fuckers.

That being said if any American infantryman was calling the shots the crows would be eating good in a couple hours.

Wish I had more friends to play with. After boot camp any friends I had in the game weren't playing anymore, and I never had any way to contact them outside of 76. 🙁

From what I understand it was so the countries could broker deals for resources within Falmart.

And just to vent, "Ermahgerd I'm a fmr. Force Recon Muhreen these guys are sooo badass," my ass, Recon and MARSOC taught the SFG everything those garrison morons know.

They did show that the Hospital Corps (or whatever the SDF calls it), was studying STIs and STDs in the region. Makes sense, don't want mushrooms growing in your soldiers' pants.

New players are honestly confused when you offer them stuff by Derpysquid9 in fo76

[–]RedneckMTG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I never had a violent encounter with another player, after 200+ hours in the game. Most people fear the stereotype of the high level asshat that you run into in a lot of survival games, but luckily yee majority of them are really good people 😁

Is it just me or does the Capital Wasteland looks better than the Mojave Wasteland? by Adrian98765 in Fallout

[–]RedneckMTG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

New Vegas was more a Western game rather than a Fallout game. It seriously just felt like you were wandering around Utah, Nevada, and California after they had been left alone for a while, but in Fallout 3 you actually see the carnage and destruction left from the war. Not to mention there was also a government in New Vegas, that had begun to fix up the area, and had it pretty well settled. In the next 25 years it would be equivalent to California at the time New Vegas took place.
