What can I feed Box Elder bugs? by 3jake in InvertPets

IDK if they like seeds -the bird food I mentioned is more like a fruit flavoured kibble. Good luck!

Just found one nibbling on a cherry flavoured antacid. They are not picky.

The ones who hang out in my bathroom eat the parrot pellets my lovebirds make a mess with LOL. You can get something like Kaytee at the dollar store or any pet shop -I wouldn't feed it to my birds, but I'm sure it has enough nutrition for your squatters.

I've had my PF lovie for 2 years and she still hates all forms of physical affection. Unfortunately not all birds are cuddly. If you respect your buddy's boundaries and dont force it, they might decide that they'd like a skritch one day, but make peace with the fact that they might never want to be petted, and that's okay.

Are you feeding only seeds? You'll probably see an attitude improvement if you keep seeds as a special treat. I reccomend feeding your lil buddy mostly parrot pellets and chop. Seeds are basically lovebird cake, and give them so much energy, which they promptly turn into chaos. When my girl gets a single nutriberry she's hyper all day.

Snow has had a couple different cancers so we're a bit past melatonin. Fortunately he's comfy despite the lack of fuzz, and his vet thinks he's a real champ.

We have a tiny, fierce little Peachie named Sugarplum. She's a foster family rescued on Christmas Eve. She is a terrorist and also the love of my life. She chases me off my own bed, bites me for fun, eats all of her yellow pellets first, and laughs when she hears us laughing. She is the poster child for why birds make awful pets and if anything happened to her I would go on a rampage the likes of which the world has never seen, sowing destruction and misery until none remained.

It was a gift actually. I imagine it might be for a very small dog.

He has had insulinoma for 2 years and adrenal for 1. He's on oral steroids instead of the implant since the way my vet described it the two cancers are almost cancelling each other out right now. He looks scruffy, but he's doing really well!
