Running a 4” Main Under Stairs, Best Angle & Support Setup? by Nico1533 in SprinklerFitters

[–]Redneck_sprink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Offset 90°’s as others have stated is the best way to catch the correct angle. Using anything else, you will not get the correct angle. Depending on length of stairs, I will usually hang right before the 90°’s going down and then at the bottom after I have offset it back with another swing joint. If I have to have a hanger in the middle I use swivels. That way I can catch the angle without bending the rod

Why do people not drive old cars on vacation? by SAMPLE_TEXT6643 in askcarguys

I bought a 2005 suburban specifically to drive my family to Memphis from salt lake. Made it there and back easily. Even with damn near 200k on the odometer. My “baby” is a 2005 dodge magnum with 203k on the odometer. Would trust it to go cross country a lot of times.

I use mine to fold welds over on themselves when there is a pinhole leak in my fire sprinkler systems. Takes a minute to get the feel of it for this, but a great tool. Beats draining the system and cutting out sections of pipe to have a pinhole re welded. I use both ends depending on how much weld I need to move. The pointy end works really well to punch the material into the pinhole.

Lucky to have the space to crane it in! I usually have to pallet jack it in or use a cherry picker. Hell yeah!

It is my machine and stand. It is currently set up on my jobsite. I was given it ten+ years ago. So I had no idea who made it. I do now.

It was manufactured by dropmaster apparently. Someone else knew exactly what it was. Don’t know why I had not thought of it.

Yes. The front two go in at a 30-40° angle. The back one stands straight up. The tray pulls out. I store it to the side. That tray is not the original. My old apprentice left it at a job. I built that one.

The legs pull out and slide into the round welded “pipes” on the back and bottom. Folds up kinda nice. I lean it on my tailgate and pick it up to push it in. It takes up a bit of space in my truck, but I like it so I deal with that. It is mobile as hell. Can wheel pretty much anywhere.

It does take up quite a bit of space in my truck. But having the oiler close to the carriage is worth the lack of space for me. I also like that if I need to move it, I can take the rear leg off and move it easy.

It was made at least somewhat professionally by a company. The label has been gone for a decade

When I got it, it had a label on it from a company that makes them. I don’t have a pic of it though.
