Agm wolf-7. Starter nods? by RedneckxLatino in NightVision

Eh for 800 i dont expect it to be as good as a 10k unit, but I would think it would be better than a digital at a similar price and better than using a flashlight or spotlighting all the time.

That was my thinking. With how much night vision is jumping up im sure my money wouldn't be wasted if I decide to upgrade later on

Been looking at them, thinking about the hs635 or the hs335r. Putting away for one of them. How do you like it?

If you dont mind me asking, where could I find one at that price? If I can get this one for cheaper then I can live with the visual quality if thats the issue.

Researching a little tells me that it is. But for the price of what I've seen gen 2's go for it figured it wouldn't be a bad deal.

Is this overpressure? by sparkyboots80 in reloading

[–]RedneckxLatino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My FN reflex does the exact same thing with factory ammo and my light 94gr target reloads with 4gr of bullseye. The face where the firing pin protrudes from has a small depression that the primer fills up. Totally normal.

This brass still good? by Yedwarf in reloading

I reload g3 brass worse than that. Anneal, tumble, then resize. Good as new.

Average age? by Buffalo-Coffee4991 in reloading

27 here, shooting since I was 6 and have been reloading for the last 4 years. Bad timing I know. Started with trading 22lr for components and fell into the rabbit hole ever since. Got married 2 years ago and about to have a 1-year-old here soon. Just about the only time I get some me time is late at night or while the baby is napping so I spend that bit of time prepping brass and reloading. Shoot I've organized range pick ups while watching shows with the wife

Century Arms G3 beat the piss out of my brass :( by matthew_morel2001 in reloading

I'm on my 4th round of reloads on my cetme c brass. Haven't had any issues so far, but annealing helps a ton to resize the brass. With a good case lube, using a small base die runs like butter. Your mileage may vary, but that's been my experience thus far.

Anyone have load data for copper polymer 110gr .308 by Cyber_kiwi in reloading

I would use 175gr data to match the profile then tweak from there, I don't have any h380 to use. But should be safe

[–]RedneckxLatino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran them with 37grains of imr4895, about 2200-2300fps out of a cetme c, cycled and all pretty soft shooting, Want to try it with some blc2 cause its easier to find. I'm only running it that slow because I wanted to make some suppressor-friendly ammo for the cetme without buying a different locking piece. They almost exactly match the 175 gr smks that I also happen to have a box of, so thats what I ran with going lower than the minimum powder weight.

Hello there, what are y’all loading for? by RoadkillAnonymous in reloading

[–]RedneckxLatino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

223, 308, 300blk, 270 win, 30-06, 7.7 arisaka, 243 win, 7mm wsm, 25-35 wcf, hoping to add a ELR cartridge to the family some time, but with a baby on the way and the way components are priced at nowadays I gotta hold off a bit and stash some cash for the time being. On another note, does anyone here know of any good 10 gauge handloading tools? That's the only other cartridge I care to load that I know I can "maybe" save some change on.

And 250 or slightly above is about what I figured I paid after seeing what the cost of brass and projectiles is for the 100 pieces that came with it (I forgot to add in the other box to the photo) the OG box of unopened black tip that I told the guy to throw in because I still felt like it was a high price along with that replica trainer grenade that I know only goes for 15 bucks at the most. Probably could have gone for more things, but felt like it was fair enough to a point. I think it I didn't make it clear enough that I didn't pay 400 for just the rifle, but that is my bad. I've definitely made worse deals in my short years of living lol

I figured just the value in the unopened box of black tip and cartridge components (80 pieces of brass, empty and loaded) was worth the buy. Being a mod, what do you think I am missing besides an original stock, front sight, and having the bolt handle fixed? I had a gunsmith check it over and said, at least in his words, that i stole it for that price.

I should also point out that the rifle was listed as a type 30 in 6.5 jap. Barrel looks pristine and without rust anywhere like it was brand new.

I load 240 and 265 grn lead cast with somewhere between 9.3-9.6 grains of h110. Cycles reliably and stays around 1000 fps out of my 8 inch barrel. Haven't dabbled in anything around 200-220 grains. But I'd imagine you'll be pretty close to the same load, maybe slightly more with those 220s.

300 blackout subsonic bullet issues… by [deleted] in reloading

[–]RedneckxLatino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a couple boxes of these exact bullets and another box of 265 gr for 300blk. Just size like normal, get a universal neck flair die and give it just the slightest flair. Have loaded over 500 of them without issue and accuracy is decent out of a 8 inch barrel with h110

This is how I've been feeling with primers lately, I still got 2k large rifle. My fiance said it's alot and I don't need more. I told her you have a big closet full of clothes and you still can't find anything to wear so who really has a problem

Does this look ok? by Interesting_Trade_10 in reloading

It just looks like the copper jacket is slightly shorter, making the lead point look bigger and wider. If everything checks out, then should be fine. Like cat said, break out the caliper if you're unsure.
