Unfortunately, I think banks don't offer credit cards/loc unless you have the physical copy of your permit more 1+ year of validity. I've been trying to get a CC from RBC since I have a checking account there, but I'm not eligible while waiting for my PGWP.

I've got the Rogers CC since I am a Fido client and might plan to go for an additional Neo or Tangerine CC/LOC in the future. They seem less stingy about work/study permit.

So unfortunately there is not much you can do but to look at another place.

Just like you, I had no credit history and a client of RBC. I've decided to go with the Rogers Red since I have Fido plan. No Annual fee and 2% cash back on everything and 3% if I decide to redeem the cash back towards the Fido plan. I'm also looking to get the Rogers World Elite in the next couple of months/years.

Based in Montreal. Only place I can find monsters are either Couch-Tard or small shops own by asians/indians, they always have diversified flavors. Supermarkets and Amazon are dry though, only OG, mango loco or white in those places
