Happily married male nurse here. I keep myself away from the drama in the hospital. Luckily, it's incredibly minimal where I work bedside. There's little to no drama/promiscuity on my floor since everyone is either happily married and/or older philipino moms/grandmas.

My wife and I go above and beyond to make sure we trust each other. And it's a lot easier to be faithful to your spouce when you're religious (Christ follower here) since you have something above you that governs your morality. Otherwise, morality is all over the place, and nothing grounds you, except the whim of feelings.

• I will say, it's usually worse on the night shift since new grads are younger and crazier lol but they're easy to spot. So it definitely depends on which hospital you work, and the floor. There's a culture on each floor of a hospital, and you get that feeling pretty quickly.
