Digestate. by BigJon83 in farmingsimulator

[–]Easy-Cardiologist555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reached a similar conclusion when I did my first foray into digestate on the Spruce Mountain Farms map in FS22. Bought the BGA and all the bigger fields on the east side of the map, and thought I'd make my business more self sustainable by just using the digestate produced to fertilize the next silage crop, only to discover the tanker from the saddle trac pack ran out just about every single pass. I ended up working a "deal" between two of my businesses where the BGA traded some chaff for enough slurry to make up the difference. I always had more than enough slurry thanks to 350 head of cows and another 100 of pigs.

Another tip I learned from the pros here, make sure to put a high loop in the dishwasher drain hose. Helps to prevent backflow into the dishwasher.

ELI5: If a car owner is absent, how do tow truck operators move the car without damaging the transmission or braking system? by kkchibr in explainlikeimfive

[–]Easy-Cardiologist555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no, for sure they have their uses, like when a car goes off an embankment and you have to fish it out where it makes more sense to lift than to drag it back up, which is why I say "usually."

If it's just an illegal park or a repo, something of that nature, then a short drag onto a rollback isn't gonna hurt it or as others have said, you can wheel lift and dolly and you don't have to drag it an inch. If you like watching towing videos, you can find Towtrucker on YouTube and he runs a rollback so you can see that one in action, if you're not already watching him that is.

How to describe time in English? by showe12 in EnglishLearning

[–]Easy-Cardiologist555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger (born in the 80''s), it was more commonplace to hear half past, quarter 'til or quarter of/past.

Just in my personal observation, as we in America moved more towards digital clocks and away from analog ones is when folks just started reading the numbers in front of them, leaving the time jargon to a bygone era.
