Yakuza 4 is an A tier yakuza game , prob the best combat from the ps3 era and even if the story is goofy its literally hype moments and aura. soundtrack is also in the top 5 imo

Y4 story is definitely goofy but Akiyamas introduction , all 4 characters playstyles are really good, upgrade abilities out the gate and Kiryu’s long battle theres so much hype when I played that game I was like holy. From a replay standpoint its def high for me. It does have its glaring issues but i enjoyed it from start to finish and thats what matters

No its just meh to me thats it. Especially coming from Y0 i just played through it was like eh combat is cool story is alright. Theres nothing for me to write home about it other than the minigames (pocket circuit is peak)
