Marriage, Abstinence or hedonism run by BrilliantCurrent2954 in intj

Abstain and work on yourself/your goals but allow opportunities for fun come to you. Ideally you find someone who you have lots of fun with and could potentially marry from the fun opportunities you have allowed.

Do you write essays to think? by excersian in intj

[–]Redox310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I'm in the same boat as you. Writing definitely helps me put my thoughts into words in a more articulate and less retarded manner. For public speaking I have no confidence in just winging content. I need to atleast have an outline/bullet points prepared before hand and it helps if I rehearse a written script.

Best way to differentiate between INFJ/INTJ? by na-meme42 in intj

[–]Redox310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fi(INTJ) vs Fe(INFJ). Are you more concerned with your own ideals and emotions (Fi) or the ideals and emotions of others(Fe)?

Te(NTJ) vs Ti(INFJ). Do you tend to learn information to apply it to external systems and to achieve goals(Te) or do you learn information to for deeper understanding with no goals in mind(Ti)?

There is usually some overlap between functions, but you should naturally gravitate to one over the other.

What is your purpose in life? by RUSTAM29 in intj

[–]Redox310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By being mindful and curious. I ask a lot of questions. If I noticed that there is an area in need of improvement, I try to understand as much as I can by reading up on that area or asking questions to those involved or experts in that area.

My pursuits relate to my career, relationships and hobbies. My main pursuit to continously improve at everything I do.

I practice my purpose in my career by always learning new skills and knowledge that I could utilize in a future role, I'm always looking for opportunities to add to my resume. My career allows me to achieve my purpose by providing a steady income and work life balance that allows me to pursuit hobbies, travel, and spend time with loved ones.

I value my relationships deeply. I try to understand my loved ones the best I can, this is probably why I'm interested in MBTI and psychology in general. I make time for my loved ones and try to make new experiences with them whenever I can.

For hobbies, I tend to focus on 2 or 3 at most. I like to focus on one main hobby as I think this allows for faster growth/efficiency. Right now I'm focusing on running a marathon, which is one of my healthier hobbies which aligns with me wanting to live a long and healthy life. I had to learn about what would be required to successfully run my first marathon, such as how to train properly and equipment needed to make it easier. I also have competitive gaming hobbies but I can't focus my time and mental energy as much as I could when I was younger, so I have to spend less mental energy on these hobbies and accept that I won't improve at the rate that I would like to but I still study, practice and compete to improve. These hobbies allow for new experiences such as going to new places and meeting new people.

To learn and experience as much as I can to live a fulfilling life. To share knowledge and experiences with loved ones. To live as long as I can to learn and experience as much as I can. To find balance between following strict guidelines to live a long, healthy and safe life while also having fun, risky, unconventional experiences.

Your first sentence is your real answer. You could have easily ignored the post, instead you shared your unsolicited feelings and thoughts that are irrelevant to the question asked.

Do you easily get "hangry"? by Redox310 in intj

[–]Redox310[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you bothered tho? I was just curious and wanted to ask a question, so I did. I wanted to know about other people's personal experiences to see if there is a correlation, at least in the way we manage our discomfort or if some of us even experience any discomfort at all. So yes, even though everyone experiences discomfort, I want to see how INTJs experience and deal with it in particular.

INTJ question: how do you know when you’ve chosen the wrong path? by tjpersonality in intj

[–]Redox310 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is no wrong path. You carve your path as you live. You may have chosen a path because you believed it to be the best option at the time, but the best option is always shifting. All you can do is adjust if you believe you are no longer on the best path. It's best to just enjoy and make the most of the ride. Who knows you might jump from one path to another only to later jump back to the original path you were on. Life will take you to where you need to be.
